| Synopsis: |
|
Our media-saturated world has made copyrighted works increasingly valuable assets due to the large markets to buy or licence the rights attached to them.
In Bermuda, the relevant legislation is the Copyright and Designs Act 2004, which became operative in early 2008. This legislation closely mirrors that of the United Kingdom and is consistent with global trends in relation to copyright protection.
