Lesley-Jane Smith, CPA, CA brings over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and strategic management to ASK Bermuda. A member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Bermuda, Lesley has held senior roles in leading organisations in Bermuda, including KPMG and the BAS Group of Companies.

In her role as Director of Finance at KPMG Bermuda, Lesley provided strategic financial guidance to the executive committee, ensuring the organisation's long-term financial health and sustainability. Her expertise includes budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. Lesley has a proven ability to optimise financial operations through process enhancements and technology integration, including the strategic use of Power BI to deliver advanced data analytics and actionable insights.

Lesley is a versatile and accomplished finance professional having gained broad experience with restructuring and insolvency at PwC Bermuda, in addition to audit and fund accounting. Lesley's career highlights include managing complex mergers, acquisitions, and ERP system conversions, as well as overseeing the financial operations of publicly traded companies.

A skilled mentor and team leader, Lesley has trained and coached developing CPAs and has served on CPA Bermuda’s Student Affairs Committee. Lesley continues as a passionate supporter of entrepreneurism via Ignite Bermuda.

Lesley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction from Mount Saint Vincent University, Canada, with a concentration in accounting. Lesley is an accomplished athlete having represented Bermuda at the national level.
